Cainiao Expands DDP Service to Three Key Latin American Markets

On August 9, Cainiao, in collaboration with AliExpress, announced the expansion and upgrade of its “Delivered Duty Paid” (DDP) service across Colombia, Chile, and Mexico. This enhancement aims to provide both sellers and consumers with a more reliable and efficient fulfillment experience.

Under this upgraded DDP service, AliExpress consumers in the aforementioned countries can now pay applicable taxes online in advance, streamlining the purchase process and ensuring a smoother transaction. Moreover, the newly introduced priority upgrade packages promise to reduce delivery times by an average of 5-8 days, thereby significantly accelerating cross-border express shipping within the Latin American region.

This development underscores Cainiao and AliExpress’s commitment to enhancing logistics efficiency and customer satisfaction in key emerging markets.
